Introduction
TimeFix is a comprehensive productivity and time management application designed for Windows. It combines three powerful tools in one interface:
- Activity Tracker - Monitor your application usage and analyze time distribution
- Time Synchronization - Automatic system time correction for computers with BIOS battery issues
- Smart Reminders - Quick notes with time triggers and categorization
Activity Tracker
The Activity tab provides detailed insights into how you spend time on your computer. It tracks all active applications and presents the data in an easy-to-understand visual format.
Key Features
Daily Grouping
Activities are organized by date with headers showing the total time for each day
Visual Progress Bars
Color-coded bars display the relative usage of each application
Precise Metrics
View exact time in hours/minutes and percentage breakdown
Application Details
See which programs consume most of your time
How to Read Activity Data
Tip: Use this data to identify time-wasting applications and optimize your productivity. The visual bars make it easy to spot patterns at a glance.
Time Synchronization
TimeFix solves a common problem: computers with dead BIOS batteries that lose track of time after every shutdown. Instead of manually adjusting the clock, TimeFix does it automatically.

Troubleshooting
Common Issues
Activity data not showing
Ensure the log file exists at C:\ProgramData\TimeFix\timefix.log. The tracker needs to run for some time before data appears.
Time not syncing automatically
Verify that Automatic mode is enabled and saved. Check if TimeFix is in your Windows startup programs.
Reminders not triggering
TimeFix must be running for reminders to work. The application checks for due reminders every 30 seconds.
Interface language not saving
Make sure TimeFix has write permissions in its installation directory to save the language_settings.pkl file.
